Swimming in our Pool

My parents got the babies a pool for their birthday. They love it. To them its like a giant bath tub. These pictures are from the first time in it. We spent about 30 minutes playing in it.

Our Birthday Party

We celebrated the babies first birthday!!! Oh what fun it was. I think we had about 50 people in our tiny house. It was hot and crowded, but so nice to have all the people who celebrated the day they were born there with us.

Presents were in abundance. Just think how many gifts one child recieves and multiply that by three. I was so proud of the babies they didn't get too fussy while opening presents.

Here Shane, my mom and I are helping open gifts.

After presents it was time for cake. We decided to go with a John Deere theme for the party.

Each baby had their own cake to dig into. Yum Yum!!!

Doing Great!!!

I know it has been a while but with packing up a house and a classroom with three infants there isn't much time for anything else. We are all doing great. Everyone is crawling all over the place and getting into more and more stuff. They find anything and everything they are not supposed to have.

Some of their favorite past times are playing the water from clean dishes as we unload the dishwasher, racing down the hall to see how can reach the open door before it gets shut, feeding the dogs goldfish because it is so funny, and seeing how much stuff they can take from each other before they one being taken gets mad. And right now they are seeing who can type the most keys on mommy's computer.

Having three is truly an experience. It is just so much fun to watch them interact with each other.

What we are doing now:
Dylan is ready to turn his car seat around, we just have to wait until his birthday next week. He is eating all table foods and loving it. We are guessing he is about 23lbs.

Hayla is our little singer, she loves to sing and clap to any music she hears. She is eating a few table foods and we are guessing she is about 18lbs.

Clayton is our antagonizer, if he can pester a sibling he is going to. He is working on eating table foods its just that his hands get in the way. He puts it in his mouth and then after chewing it up takes it out. We are guessing he is about 18lbs.

We turn 1 next week! I can't believe we have made it a whole year.

A Weekend with Family

We spent the weekend with family. Here are the babies in a crib at Grandma's house. (Shane's mom)

Everyone is doing great! They are all pulling up and the boys are crawling.

Dylan finally cut two teeth and is eating any anthing he can get his hands on. He is also saying "dada" and "buba".

Clayton isn't talking yet but he is using his voice as loud as he can. I am working on getting him to say Mama first I am feeling kind of left out.

And then there is miss Hayla. She is going to let her brothers do every thing for her. She can pull up but has not tried crawling yet. She too is saying "dada".

Bluebonnet pictures

On a Sunday afternoon we took the kids up to my school to take our first bluebonnet pictures.

The boys loved it but Hayla did not like the grass touching her legs or feet.

Hayla did it

Well Hayla is finally pulling up like the boys. She had done it once before but that was it. Now she is doing it all the time. We also think she is saying "da da".

Here we are out for a walk on a one of the beautiful spring days we have been having.

We are 10 months old

The babies turned 1o months last Friday. Where has the time gone? They are all working on pulling up. They have all pulled up from a sitting position, but the boys do it all the time now that they have learned how. All three are getting over ear infections this week so we aren't in the best of moods. Hopefully they will be better by the weekend because we are supposed to go to the deer lease on Saturday.

Let me out of here!
